Jessica developed an interest in baking from a young age working side-by-side with her grandmothers baking cookies, cakes and other various baked goods. Jessica has always been very creative and when a friend asked her to create her wedding cake, she decided to tackle the challenge. Since then, she has been working on perfecting her technique and creativity.
Cake decorating has become a passion mostly enjoyed on the side. Jessica has a Bachelor and Masters degree in Architecture from the University of New Mexico and is currently working as an Intern Architect at a local firm in Albuquerque. Her drive for design expands from her daily job and is translated into cakes, frosting and fondant.
Jessica specializes in a more modern take on the traditional cake. With various icing techniques and exploration of fondant, she creates one of a kind pieces for all to enjoy. She strives to keep challenging herself with every new cake and continues to learn new techniques and methods.
